Bicycle Tours Hanoi Countryside Full Day Itinerary:

• Hanoi Bicycle Tours: At 8:00 a.m., your tour guide will collect you and accompany you to our bicycle store to select the perfect bikes. Once you’re comfortable with your chosen bike, a safety briefing will be provided, and then we’ll set out on our adventure!
• Our first stop is the Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi’s oldest bridge, constructed over a century ago during the French colonial period. From this vantage point, we’ll admire the sweeping view of the Red River below, observing boats gliding beneath us and exploring the lush vegetable gardens on the nearby island.
• Pedaling through the countryside along the banks of the Red River, we’ll marvel at Vietnam’s stunning rural landscapes and witness locals attending to their fields. A visit to a local bonsai family will offer insight into this intricate art form, with our guide providing translation to delve into local customs and traditions.
• Afterward, we’ll cycle to a nearby wet market to indulge in a sampling of tropical fruits before refreshing ourselves with sugarcane juice or other local beverages at Lotus Lake.
• Continuing our journey along dirt roads and through remote villages, we’ll reach the Co Loa Ancient Citadel, dating back to 200 BC, where we’ll learn about its historical significance in Vietnam’s defense against foreign invaders under Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong’s leadership.
• Following our visit, we’ll enjoy lunch with a local family at a fruit garden, relishing traditional dishes.
• In the afternoon, we’ll pedal through towns, farms, and along the riverbank, enjoying the cool breeze of the Red River. Our route will lead us through charming villages in Northern Vietnam’s countryside before arriving at a local boat station, where we’ll embark on a Red River cruise back to Hanoi.
• Before concluding our journey and returning to your hotel, you’ll have the chance to indulge in a unique Egg Coffee to satisfy any lingering caffeine cravings. Our trip typically wraps up around 4:00-4:30 p.m.

Hanoi Bicycle Tours:

Dressing: Light and comfortable clothing and shoes. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended.

Trip style: This tour is offered on a “join-in” basis. However you can request for a private tour with small surcharge.

Distance: This tour includes cycling 45 km on flat roads, back-roads to the outskirts of Hanoi. Our ride will require a basic level of physical fitness and you should be comfortable with riding bicycle.
