Hanoi to Thung Nham Bird Valley and Kenh Ga Full-Day Private Car Tour Led by Women

Stage 1: Private Departure from Hanoi

Meet your driver and Vietnamese female tour guide at your hotel before setting off for Kenh Ga in Ninh Binh. Travel through rural northern Vietnam, passing fields, village settlements and agricultural landscapes. During the transfer, your guide provides an introduction to the Red River Delta and the countryside you will explore throughout the day.

Stage 2: Boat Excursion around Kenh Ga

Upon arrival, take a local boat along the river to discover the scenery around Kenh Ga. View limestone hills, green riverbanks and homes located near the water. Observe how local boats are used for transport and everyday work. Your guide explains the relationship between the river, the surrounding land and the community’s traditional way of life.

Stage 3: Kenh Ga Village and Traditional Livelihoods

Explore the accessible village surroundings and take in the rural atmosphere. Observe the arrangement of houses, nearby farmland and riverside spaces. Your guide discusses local livelihoods, including agricultural activities and the use of waterways. This stop provides time to appreciate the quieter side of Ninh Binh before continuing by car.

Stage 4: Vietnamese Lunch and Countryside Transfer

Stop for lunch at a local restaurant serving Vietnamese dishes and possible Ninh Binh specialties such as mountain goat and crispy rice. Vegetables and steamed rice may also be included, depending on the menu. After lunch, travel by private car to Thung Nham, passing limestone hills and cultivated fields on the way to the ecotourism area.

Stage 5: Discover the Limestone Landscape of Thung Nham

Visit Buddha Cave (Hang Bụt) if the boat service is operating, and experience the cave’s limestone interior and natural surroundings. Continue to selected parts of Thung Nham to appreciate its waterways, vegetation and karst landscape. Additional accessible paths or viewpoints may be included if time and local access permit.

Stage 6: Boat Ride through the Bird Sanctuary and Return to Hanoi

Explore Thung Nham Bird Garden on a sightseeing boat, looking for waterbirds and other species among the wetland vegetation. If the timing is favorable, observe birds gathering in the trees toward the end of the day. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Once the visit is complete, return to Hanoi by private car for hotel drop-off.
