Hanoi Women Tours
What if you could see Hanoi in a few hours from a completely different perspective?
Instead of sitting inside a bus and watching the city through a window, imagine riding through narrow streets, passing colorful markets, crossing a historic bridge, leaving the traffic behind and suddenly finding yourself surrounded by green fields beside the Red River.
That is the experience offered by Hanoi Women Tours.
Our Hanoi City Insight Motorbike Tour is led by experienced female riders and designed for travelers who want to experience Hanoi’s history, culture, street life, countryside and food in one carefully arranged journey.
You will travel comfortably as a passenger on a Honda Lead scooter. Your driver handles the traffic and navigation while your English-speaking guide helps you understand the history and stories behind the places along the route.
With morning and afternoon departures, this 4–4.5 hour experience is an easy way to discover a much broader side of Hanoi without spending an entire day on the road.
Hanoi by Scooter: City, History, Countryside and Food
Hanoi is a city of contrasts.
Historic buildings stand beside modern cafés. Busy markets are only a few streets away from quiet residential lanes. The crowded city center is surprisingly close to green agricultural land.
A scooter is one of the best ways to experience these contrasts.
You can move through small streets, reach areas that are difficult for larger vehicles and experience the changing atmosphere of Hanoi throughout the journey.
Our route has been designed to connect these different sides of the capital in four distinct parts.

4-Part Hanoi Women Tours Itinerary
Part 1: Historic Hanoi From the Street
Your tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or an agreed meeting point.
Meet your experienced female rider and English-speaking guide, receive a short safety briefing and begin your journey through Hanoi.
The first section focuses on the historic side of the capital. Ride through the city center, explore smaller streets and observe the mixture of traditional homes, shops, cafés, markets and modern businesses.
You will travel through areas connected with Hanoi’s French colonial history and see the Hanoi Opera House.
The route also brings you to the area around Huu Tiep Lake, where the remains of a B-52 bomber can be seen. Your guide will explain the historical background and significance of the site.
This part of the tour is a combination of sightseeing and storytelling, giving you a better understanding of how Hanoi became the city it is today.
Part 2: Long Bien Bridge & Banana Island
The second part takes you toward the Red River and historic Long Bien Bridge.
Riding across the bridge gives you a close view of one of Hanoi’s most important historical structures. From here, the city looks very different, with the Red River stretching beneath you and the urban landscape extending into the distance.
After crossing the river, you will enter Banana Island.
This green area feels far removed from the busy streets of central Hanoi. You will ride along quieter paths surrounded by banana trees, gardens, farmland and open spaces.
It is an unexpected side of the capital and one of the best opportunities during the tour to experience Hanoi’s countryside without leaving the city.
Take your time to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs before continuing your journey.
Part 3: West Lake, Truc Bach & Neighborhood Life
The journey then returns toward Hanoi’s urban areas.
You will explore the surroundings of West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, enjoying a quieter atmosphere and beautiful lakeside scenery.
The route continues through residential neighborhoods, smaller roads and interesting parts of the city where you can observe everyday Hanoi life.
You may see people shopping at neighborhood markets, families going about their routines, cafés opening for the day and businesses operating along the streets.
The tour also includes the Train Street area when conditions allow.
Your guide will explain the character and history of the neighborhoods while your female rider navigates the streets comfortably.
Part 4: Vietnamese Food & Coffee Experience
The final part of the tour is dedicated to one of the most enjoyable parts of visiting Hanoi: food.
After exploring the city and countryside, sit down and enjoy Vietnamese food together with selected drinks or desserts.
Vegetarian food can be arranged according to your requirements.
You will also have the opportunity to experience Hanoi’s famous coffee culture. Try Vietnamese egg coffee or another traditional Vietnamese drink or dessert before completing the journey.
After this relaxing stop, your driver will take you back to your hotel or agreed meeting point.
