2 Days Sapa Motorbike Tour

Day 1: Sapa – O Quy Ho – Ban Khoang – Ta Giang Phinh – Ma Tra – Ta Phin

The journey commences at 8:30 AM as our dedicated team arrives to collect you from either your hotel or our office in the heart of Sapa. Today’s adventure promises a traverse through six villages, many of which remain undiscovered by typical tourist crowds, not from a lack of beauty, but because of their rustic charm and secluded nature.

By 9:00 AM, our convoy embarks on a picturesque route, passing through O Quy Ho village, a scenic enclave filled with verdant tea plantations, thriving vegetable plots, cacao farms, and vibrant flower gardens. A stop at a captivating viewpoint offers an opportunity to capture the endless beauty of the landscape while observing the diligent local farmers.

At 9:50 AM, we arrive at Thac Bac Waterfall – a majestic natural wonder and one of Sapa’s largest waterfalls, where the cascading waters create a mesmerizing spectacle.

By 10:20 AM, our motorbike riders ascend to Tram Ton Pass, also known as the “Heaven Gate”, standing at an impressive 2,200 meters above sea level. From this vantage point, guests are treated to a panoramic vista of Sapa and Hoang Lien Son National Park. The sweeping views, especially on clear days, showcase deep valleys, rugged terrain, and the grandeur of Tram Ton Pass as a colossal gateway into the mountains.

At 10:45 AM, we continue towards Ban Khoang, Can Ho, and Ta Giang Phinh villages via winding mountain roads that reveal breathtaking scenery. We immerse ourselves in the cultural richness of Hmong and Red Dao families, gaining insight into their traditions and daily life.

After a delightful local lunch, the adventure continues to the old stone bridge, rock formations, and some of the most scenic rice paddies in the region. In the afternoon, we reach Ma Tra and Ta Phin villages, where a homestay with a Red Dao family awaits. Here, guests can join a traditional cooking class, enjoy a homemade dinner, and sample “happy water” – a local specialty made of rice, wine, and beer.

Day 2: Ta Phin – Hang Da – Soi Chua – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Ban Ho – Sapa

After a hearty breakfast, we begin a deeper exploration into Sapa’s hidden mountains toward Sau Chua and Hang Da Villages. The route offers awe-inspiring vistas of majestic mountains and terraced rice fields, with crisp mountain air and valley views adding to the experience.

Ascending to the mountain peak, you’ll enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Sa Pha Valley, dotted with hidden Hmong and Dzao villages, untouched by mass tourism.

Our path continues into the famous Muong Hoa Valley, home to five unique villages inhabited by Day, Dao, and Tay ethnic communities. As we travel through Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai, Su Pan, and Ban Ho, we gain a firsthand glimpse into rural life and the customs of these vibrant communities. Lunch is served in Ban Ho Village, offering a tasty sampling of ethnic cuisine.

Following lunch, the return journey passes through lush paddy fields, where locals tend to their land, and buffaloes and chickens cross your path, painting a perfect picture of Sapa’s rustic charm. We cruise through Ta Van Village, arriving back in Sapa around 4:00 PM, filled with cherished memories of Sapa’s cultural heritage and natural beauty.
