🟢 Part 1: Bike Selection & Long Bien Bridge
At 8:00 a.m., your tour guide will meet you and accompany you to the bicycle store to choose the perfect bike. After a safety briefing, we begin our adventure with a ride to Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi’s oldest bridge built during the French colonial era. From here, enjoy sweeping views of the Red River, watch boats glide below, and explore the lush vegetable gardens on the nearby island.

🟢 Part 2: Countryside Ride & Local Experiences
Pedal along the Red River’s banks through stunning rural landscapes, observing locals tending their fields. Visit a bonsai family to learn about this delicate art, with your guide providing translations to deepen your understanding of local customs. Next, stop at a nearby wet market to sample tropical fruits and refresh yourself with sugarcane juice or other local drinks by Lotus Lake.

🟢 Part 3: Historic Co Loa Citadel & Lunch with Locals
Continue cycling on dirt roads and through remote villages until you reach the ancient Co Loa Citadel, dating back to 200 BC. Learn about its crucial role in Vietnam’s history under the leadership of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong. After exploring the site, enjoy a delicious lunch with a local family in a fruit garden, savoring authentic Vietnamese dishes.

🟢 Part 4: Scenic Ride & Red River Cruise
In the afternoon, pedal through charming towns, farms, and along the riverbank, soaking in the cool Red River breeze and countryside ambiance. Arrive at a local boat station and embark on a relaxing Red River cruise back to Hanoi. Before concluding the tour, treat yourself to a unique Vietnamese Egg Coffee to cap off your memorable day. The journey typically ends around 4:00–4:30 p.m. with a transfer back to your hotel.

Dressing: Light and comfortable clothing and shoes. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended.

Trip style: This tour is offered on a “join-in” basis. However you can request for a private tour with small surcharge.

Distance: This tour includes cycling 45 km on flat roads, back-roads to the outskirts of Hanoi. Our ride will require a basic level of physical fitness and you should be comfortable with riding bicycle.
